A 29-year-old man has been charged after a serious assault in Regina.
Shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday, police were called to a report of a 37-year-old man who had been assaulted in the 1100 block of Empress Street.
The victim was taken to hospital by EMS where he received treatment for injuries that police say are consistent with a serious physical assault.
Police say a man, who was a visitor at the address, was allegedly responsible for the violent attack. The man fled the scene and officers later located and arrested a suspect nearby.
Anthony Michael Tuckanow of Balcarres faces a charge of aggravated assault. He was scheduled to make his first court appearance Monday morning.
