The city is inviting residents to bring hazardous household waste to a collection day this Saturday.
From 9:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m., hazardous wastes, such as fertilizers, aerosols, paint and batteries as well as appliances and rimless tires, will be collected at the city’s Public Works Yard at 2425 4th Ave.
All of the items collected will be reused, recycled, or disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
