The Crown has stayed charges against a Moose Jaw man accused of assaulting his common-law wife.
Donna Acton was found injured last October. The 66-year-old later died in hospital.
Based on the pathologist's report, the Crown says there is not enough evidence to support either the assault charge against Acton's common law husband, 58 year old William Akins, or any upgraded charges.
