RCMP have launched a homicide investigation after a 20-year-old man was fatally stabbed at a hotel in North Battleford.

Officers were called to a report of a stabbing at the hotel, located in the 900 block of 101st Street, early Monday morning.

They found a 20-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds in a hotel room. He was taken to hospital, where he later died.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released.

A 35-year-old man, who was found in the lobby of the hotel with non-life threatening injuries, remains in hospital.
