Plans to construct a new, larger library in downtown Regina have hit a road block.
The Masons have voted overwhelmingly against selling their historic temple.
The Masonic temple building is located next door to the current library.
Plans for a new library, which were accidentally made public last year, call for the temple to be purchased and torn down to make room for the new structure.
Hundreds of Mason members from across the country participated in the vote.
