Moose Jaw police say charges have been laid after two men were seriously injured in a fight earlier this week.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Duffield Street West after receiving a report about a group of men fighting. When they arrived, two men had already suffered serious injuries.

Police say a 33-year-old man, who suffered a knife wound to the head, remains in the intensive care unit at Regina General Hospital. A 31-year-old man, who also sustained severe head injuries, was treated at the Moose Jaw hospital.

David Gamble, 22, and 20-year-old Nicholas Gamble have each been charged with aggravated assault. Both men are being held in custody until a bail hearing scheduled for next Tuesday.

The incident remains under investigation.
