The Saskatchewan government has approved a new wind energy project.
The project, known as the Blue Hill Wind energy project, will see up to 56 wind turbines built south of Herbert.
The turbines will add enough energy to the grid to power up to 70,000 average Saskatchewan homes.
Construction on the project is expected to begin in 2019, and service could begin as soon as 2021.
