Lawyers have set preliminary hearing dates for three Saskatchewan Roughriders accused of aggravated assault.

The hearing will be held June 11 and 12 in Regina provincial court, Dwight Anderson’s lawyer, Jeff Deagle, confirmed Thursday.

Anderson and teammates Taj Smith and Eron Riley were charged following a fight outside a nightclub on Dewdney Avenue last August.

The incident sent 20-year-old Jonathan Mukendi to hospital with serious injuries.

A preliminary hearing is held to determine if there is enough evidence to proceed to trial.
