The sun came out just in time for the kickoff of the Queen City Ex in Regina.
The 132nd installment of the annual fair at Evraz Place started Wednesday at noon.
About 50 rides and a variety of food concessions will be on offer, as well as live entertainment.
Strong winds and rain forced organizers to cancel Tuesday night’s Queen City Ex parade and firework display.
