Regina police have laid charges in an alleged hit-and-run collision that left a woman injured.

Police say the driver of a van fled after running a stop sign and broadsiding a vehicle at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Angus Street on Tuesday afternoon.

A 57-year-old woman in the other vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash.

Officers located the van a short time later and arrested the driver.

Kerry Lynn Lonechild, 25, of Regina has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving bodily harm.

Lonechild is scheduled to make her first court appearance Nov. 18.
