Three people are facing charges after RCMP seized more than 200,000 illegal cigarettes in the Moose Jaw area.

RCMP allege the contraband smokes were being sold at the home of a Moose Jaw man.

Police seized the cigarettes, along with a truck and trailer, after searching a home in Moose Jaw and a farm near Mortlach in late September.

Calvin Donald Turner, 60, from Moose Jaw, and Lori and Lionel Herbert, both 51, from the Mortlach area have been charged under the Tobacco Tax Act and the Excise Act.

All three are set to make their first court appearance in Moose Jaw on Dec. 21.
