Three people are facing charges after Regina police say a loaded gun, ammunition and knives were found inside a stolen vehicle Thursday night.

Shortly before 10 p.m., police were called to the 1100 block of Angus Street for a report of an impaired driver.

Police say the licence plate showed the vehicle was stolen. When officers tried to arrest the occupants of the vehicle, one of them ran from the scene and was apprehended following a foot chase. The two remaining occupants were taken into custody without incident.

A search of the vehicle turned up a loaded gun, along with ammunition, and knives, police said.

Joseph Nicholas Littlecrow, 20, Jamie Rae Munroe, 22, and Denise Kelly Rale Cote, 23 – all from Regina – each face stolen auto and various firearm-related charges. Littlecrow is also charged with impaired driving.

Littlecrow and Cote were scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon, and Munroe’s appearance was set for Monday.
