Toddler receives minor injuries after being bumped by car in Regina parking lot

A woman is facing charges following a car accident involving a toddler Saturday morning.

The incident took place in a parking lot in the 1900 block of 7^th Avenue.

While trying to pull into a parking stall, a female driver hit the gas instead of the brake, sending the vehicle forward and into a 5-year-boy.

The boy was knocked to the ground and sustained minor injuries.

The woman then struck seven more vehicles, causing what officials describe as “extensive” damage.  

The driver has been ticketed with driving without due care and attention.
