A tornado warning that was issued in southwestern Saskatchewan has been lifted.

Environment Canada said a severe thunderstorm was possibly producing a tornado. The possible tornado was last reported 50 kilometres west of Vanguard before the warning ended around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

The agency said damaging winds, large hail and intense rainfall were also possible. There were no reports of any injuries or damage.

Severe thunderstorm watches and warnings were also issued in the province's southwest.
