Regina police are currently searching for suspects in connection to two separate armed robberies and one weapons offence from early Sunday morning.

The first robbery happened just after 5:30 a.m. on the 2100 block of Albert Street.

Police say two men entered a business, one carrying a weapon and the other man carrying a duffle bag. The men stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

Officers describe the men as 5’8” to 5’11” tall. The first man was wearing blue jeans and black sweater with a red t-shirt hanging out the bottom. He was carrying a weapon and had a neck scarf covering his face.

The second man was carrying the large black duffle bag and was wearing black clothing with his face partially covered.

The second robbery occurred just before 9:45 a.m. at a business on the 800 block of Victoria Avenue East.

Police say a man entered the business with a weapon and demanded money. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running north on Rothwell Street from the business.

The man is described as 5’9”, wearing a red hat, a reflective construction type vest with a black hoodie underneath, black pants and his face was covered with a scarf.

Police say they are also investigating a weapons offence that occurred around 5 a.m. on the 4600 block of Albert Street.

A man entered a business holding a weapon and then placed the weapon on the counter, saying nothing.

The man then left the business and broke two windows on the north side of the building.

Police describe the man as thin, between 5’8” and 6’, wearing a black hooded sweater, dark pants, black framed glasses and a camouflage cover his mouth and face.
