A working group is being set up to tackle prescription drug trafficking in the Yorkton and Kamsack areas.

Pharmacists, doctors, health agency representatives, police and the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations met this week to talk about the situation.

RCMP say they agreed to set up a group to look into possible solutions and will meet again in April to discuss their findings.

Nearly two dozen people in eastern Saskatchewan are facing trafficking charges following a six-month police investigation.

Several of the accused are set to appear in court March 15.
