A well-known American television journalist with Regina roots has passed away.
Barrie Dunsmore spent thirty years at ABC News, where he covered seven US presidents from Johnson to Clinton.
He covered the Vietnam War, and the fall of the Berlin Wall before retiring in 1995.
Dunsmore was born in Regina and attended Scott Collegiate.
He began his broadcast career in the 1950's at CKRM.
