One man is dead after his vehicle struck an elk Tuesday evening north of Kelvington.
The accident happened around 9:30 on Highway #38. Rose Valley RCMP identify the victim only as a 52-year-old man from Porcupine Plain. He was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
The highway was temporarily closed to allow for a police investigation. It has since re-opened.
