Highway 1 eastbound at Ninth Avenue NW in Moose Jaw is down to one lane after a car struck a semi on Monday morning.
Police were called to the scene shortly before 4:00 a.m.
They say a car driving northbound on Ninth Avenue NW ran a stop sign and hit the side of an eastbound semi.
The driver of the car ran away from the scene. A canine unit was brought in, but police were unable to locate the driver.
The eastbound portion of the highway is expected to be down to one lane for most of the morning.
Police say the crash caused $50,000 in damage.
