Canada Day revelers in Regina will descend on Wascana Park to celebrate the nation’s birth Wednesday.

The all-day event will include a 21-gun salute, a strongman competition, live music, free activities for kids and, of course, a firework display.

At 1 p.m., a “living flag” will be assembled outside the Legislative Building. The first 500 participants to show up will be given a free white or red T-shirt, and a photo of the living flag will be posted online.

A full list of activities is available on the Regina Canada Day website.
