The death of a man found near a town northeast of Regina is a homicide, according to police.
The 34-year-old man, identified as Reno Lee from Regina, was recently found dead north of Balcarres, Sask. following a police investigation that began in Regina on April 23.
Regina police confirmed the death as a homicide in a media release Friday night.
Lee is the city’s third homicide victim of the year, police said.
Details surrounding the death are so far sparse, but the Regina Police Service major crimes and forensic identification units are investigating, along with members of the criminal investigations division.
Balcarres is located 90 kilometres northeast of Regina.
