A Calgary man has been charged in connection with two recent bank robberies in Swift Current and Moose Jaw.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m. last Friday, a man entered the TD Bank on Central Avenue and demanded cash, claiming he was armed. The robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

On Jan. 9, Moose Jaw police charged 24-year-old Devin Bellhumer with robbing a bank in that city. Bellhumer was later charged in connection with the bank robbery in Swift Current.

Bellhumer is in custody awaiting his next court appearance in Moose Jaw on Jan. 25.
