The City of Regina is now on the hunt for a new city manager.

Glen Davies has announced he will retire from the post on Nov. 2. Davies has served as the head of the city’s administration since June of 2006. He says his career legacy includes improving customer service for Regina residents.

“Over time we have dramatically changed how we operate to improve customer service and find efficiencies. But it’s time to move on,” Davies said in a written release.

“Major projects are on time and on budget, big issues like the Pension are on the way to resolution. I leave the city in a better place and in good hands.”

The city says a national search will be conducted to find a replacement for Davies.
