Two people, including a 14-year-old boy, are facing charges in connection with an armed robbery in Regina.

On Friday night, police responded to a robbery at a convenience store in the 3200 block of Montague Street.

Police say a lone male carrying a knife entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes. The suspect, whose face was covered, fled with the stolen items in a waiting vehicle.

Officers located the vehicle a short time later and arrested a 37-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy, both from Regina.

The 37-year-old man, Jerry Joseph Pelletier, faces charges that include armed robbery and drug possession.

The 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with armed robbery and wearing a disguise with intent. He also faces similar charges in connection with three previous incidents between Aug. 21 and 22.
