Regina police responded to a slew of serious incidents over the weekend.

At around 11 p.m. Sunday, police were called to a weapons offence in the 600 block of Montague Street.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a single stab wound.

Police were also dispatched to a second stabbing in North Central Regina late Sunday night.

Two men were walking in the 1000 block of Rae Street when they were stabbed by a male assailant, police said.

Both victims were taken to hospital and have since been released.

Also on Sunday night, police were called to an assault in the 1600 block of Toronto Street.

Two men, one armed with a machete and the other a gun, went into the backyard of the home.

A man was allegedly struck with the gun and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are also investigating a similar incident at a home on Retallack Street early Saturday morning.

When officers responded, they found two men who had been assaulted.

Both men were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There is no indication that the two home incidents are related, police said.

Police were also called to a robbery at a store on Grant Road early Sunday morning.

A man armed with a hand gun made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

There was also a robbery at a Shoppers Drug Mart on Broad Street early Saturday morning.

A man who claimed to have a weapon stole medication and fled from the scene.
