The Regina Public Schoolboard is renaming the adult campus in honour of Saskatchewan’s 10th Premier.

The campus will be called the Allan Blakeney Adult Campus. The school board says the name change was suggested by Premier Brad Wall, who asked that Blakeney be honored for his contribution to the province.

The campus will also be moved from its current downtown location, to the former Wascana School on 4th Ave.

The adult campus is a program for students aged 18-21, who have not completed high school. The changes will take effect in the 2017-2018 school year.
