SaskTel has expanded 4G wireless coverage and capacity in several areas across the province.

The Crown-owned utility says it completed 22 projects aimed at improving the network last month.

Regina, Saskatoon and Swift Current are among the 10 communities that were included in the expansion.

Upgrades were also made to the network in Sandy Beach Regional Park and the K+S Potash Legacy mine near Bethune.

In addition to constructing traditional towers, SaskTel is also installing carrier antennas inside buildings and on streetlights, rooftops and poles.
