A preliminary hearing has been set for the man accused in Regina’s first homicide of 2013.
Dale Murray Stonechild of Balcarres is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 81-year-old Victor Richard McNab.
The victim’s body was found in the 1400 block of Rae Street in North Central Regina on Jan. 9.
The preliminary hearing is scheduled to begin June 17 and is expected to last four days.
At the end of the hearing, a judge will decide whether there’s enough evidence to hold a trial.
