A Saskatchewan man has been accused of attempting to sell cocaine in Manitoba at a country music festival.

Police say they arrested the 38-year-old man at the Dauphin Countryfest on Sunday.

They say he was in possession of nine grams of a substance they believed to be coacaine.

Thirty-eight year old Stanley Joseph Cote, from the Cote First Nation in southeastern Saskatchewan, has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

He will appear today in provincial court in Dauphin.
