The Saskatchewan Roughriders appear to be set to announce the return of their star quarterback.

For the second straight day, Darian Durant took the majority of snaps at practice, and was put through additional carry drills to test his mobility. Head coach Chris Jones and Durant will meet later today when they're expected to make a decision on the pivot's status for Thursday's clash with the Calgary Stampeders.

Durant was forced to the sidelines on July 16th in a 40-27 loss at the hands of the B.C. Lions. Mitchell Gale had a strong first showing in Durant's place, leading the Riders to a 30-29 win over Ottawa before being blown out 41-3 against Montreal last week.

The Roughriders face the Calgary Stampeders at McMahon Stadium on Thursday night. You can see the game on TSN and we'll have highlights and reaction here on CTV Regina.
