A blaze broke out at a home on Salemka Crescent Wednesday morning.
When fire crews arrived on scene just after 5:30 a.m., flames and plumes smoke could be seen shooting from the bungalow. The blaze was contained to the first floor of the home.
Fire officials say five people were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation.
Investigators are working to determine the cause.
