The latest real estate report predicts the average home price in Regina will rise four per cent by the end of 2013.
Royal LePage says the average price of a home in the city is forecast to climb to $313,000 this year.
The average price of a two-storey home in Regina rose nearly 17 per cent in 2012. That’s the largest increase among all housing types surveyed in Canada.
Detached bungalows and standard two-storey homes in the city also posted average price gains of about five per cent and six per cent respectively.
However, as housing prices rise in 2013, the number of homes sold in Regina is expected to fall nearly four per cent to 3,800.
