A trio of robberies kept Regina police busy overnight.

Officers were called around 10:40 p.m. Friday to a robbery in progress at a business on the 300 block of Albert Street. The suspect, reportedly armed with a weapon, fled the scene as officers were en route. Shortly after, however, police received reports of a robbery on the 2700 block of Avonhurst Drive. A suspect matching the description of the first robbery’s suspect was located leaving the scene by police and arrested.

No one was injured and the stolen property was returned, police said.

The third robbery call, unrelated to the previous calls, came in around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. A man was accosted by two other men armed with knives on the 2100 block of Seventh Avenue North, according to police.

A small amount of property was stolen. Police said they’re still investigating the incident.
