Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for regions in southeast Saskatchewan, advising that significant rainfall is expected Monday night, and into Tuesday.

Carlyle, Oxbow, Carnduff, Bienfait, Soughton, Estevan, Weyburn, Radville, Milestone, Moosomin, Grenfell, Kipling, and Wawota are currently in the advisory area.

Environment Canada says a low pressure system in the Dakotas could bring rainfall totals of 30 to 50 mm, but there is the potential for even more precipitation.
