The RCMP has confirmed that they have now wrapped up their investigation into the Global Transportation Hub land dealings and have passed their findings to out of province prosecutors to decide if further action will be taken.

CTV first reported back in October that the investigation had reportedly wrapped up and the findings had been handed to the Justice Department in Manitoba, but police had not provided confirmation until Thursday.

The investigation was launched to determine whether the government had effective processes in place for the purchase of 204 acres of land for the GTH.

The Conflict of Interest Commissioner declined to do an inquiry into Bill Boyd’s dealings with the GTH back in September, saying there were no reasonable and probably grounds for review under the Conflict of Interest Act.
