Two men are facing charges following a firearm complaint at a home on the Key First Nation in southeastern Saskatchewan early Saturday morning.

RCMP say a male suspect, who was inside the home with three other people, fled when police arrived.

The man was arrested after a short foot pursuit. During the arrest, police saw a vehicle being driven erratically, putting the officers and suspect at risk. The driver of the vehicle was also arrested at the scene.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Mounties say a firearm was found at the home.

Robert Miles Brass, 52, of the Key First Nation faces several charges, including assault with a weapon and forcible confinement. Lucas Jordan O’Soup, 25, also from the Key First Nation, is charged with dangerous driving, assaulting a police officer with a weapon, assault and driving without a licence.

Both men appeared in court Tuesday morning. Brass’ next court appearance is scheduled for June 13, while O’Soup is due back in court Thursday.
