A man wanted in connection with a carjacking and robbery has been arrested.
David Shepherd was arrested by police in Regina.
Police say Shepherd approached a young person on Saturday evening and forced him to drive where to an ATM machine, where he forced the victim to withdraw money from an ATM.
He then allegedly drove out of town, with the victim still in the car. The victim was able to escape while the suspect was stopped in Whitewood, Sask.
Shepherd is scheduled to appear in court in Yorkton on Tuesday.
