A 41-year-old Regina man is facing several charges after a stolen car rammed another vehicle into a pole, injuring one person.

RCMP say the incident happened in front of the Dairy Queen in Fort Qu’Appelle early Wednesday morning.

The driver of the van that was rammed into the pole was pinned in his vehicle.

EMS crews freed him from the wreckage and took him to hospital in Regina. There’s no word on his condition.

Lawrence Joseph Longman has been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm, dangerous driving causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Longman was scheduled to make his first court appearance Thursday morning in Fort Qu’Appelle.
