It's the week that hockey fans have been waiting for WHL season has arrived. Teams across Saskatchewan hit the ice this week at training camps, including the Regina Pats.
Rookie camp began on Tuesday at the Co-operators Centre. Veteran will report for medicals on Friday.
The Regina Pats will host the Memorial Cup this season, so there isn't a lot of room for rookies, but players like 17-year-old Riley Krane are hoping their brief WHL experience last season can help them make the club.
The pats annual training camp blue and white game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the Co-operators Centre.
