Operation Red Nose will be offering rides on certain days in Nov. and Dec. The charity kicked off their 2016 campaign with a media event on Tuesday.

Drivers will be able to make a phone call, or use the Operation Red Nose app, available in both the iOS and Google Play stores to have a volunteer drive them and their vehicle home.

Last year Operation Red Nose gave more than 400 rides in Saskatchewan.

This year, the service will run in Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and the Battlefords this year, but the government says they would like to see the service in more communities in the future.

The service will run Nov. 25 and 26, and then again on Dec. 2, 3, 9,10, 16, 17 and 31 in Regina, Saskatoon and the Battlefords. In Prince Albert, Operation Red Nose will also operate on Dec. 23.

In Regina the number is 306-949-2400. In Saskatoon the number is 639-480-6673. In the Battlefords the number is 306-446-7177 or 306-480-9876. In Prince Albert the number is 306-763-6673.

Operation Red Nose is still looking for volunteers. You can find out more about how to get involved on their website.
