A six-year-old boy is dead and another young child injured following an all-terrain vehicle accident on a farm in eastern Saskatchewan.
RCMP say the accident happened on a private pasture northeast of Canora around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The six-year-old boy succumbed to injuries from the accident. The child's name has not been released.
Another child suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the accident. The four-year-old boy was taken to hospital in Canora and later transferred to a Regina hospital.
Police say both victims of the ATV accident were not wearing helmets.
RCMP are continuing their investigation.
