A forest fire in northern Saskatchewan is extending its reach to the southern part of the province, and even to Manitoba's capital.
Residents of Prince Albert first saw the thick haze yesterday morning. Since then, it's migrated south and east.
The smoke is from a blaze burning outside the community of Southend, about 450 kilometers northeast of Prince Albert.
The fire doesn't appear to be threatening any northern communities at this time.
