The Saskatchewan Roughriders say coaches Alex Smith, Mike Walker and Kris Sweet have been let go.
Smith spent 16 seasons with the Riders and was most recently the team’s linebackers coach. He was also an advisor to head coach Corey Chamblin.
Walker was Saskatchewan’s defensive line coach for the past two seasons. The Indiana native previously spent time in Edmonton and Toronto.
Sweet was only in his first season as the Riders’ offensive line coach. However, he was no stranger to the CFL, having spent five seasons with the Calgary Stampeders.
Saskatchewan finished the 2012 season with an 8-10 record after losing to Calgary in the Western semifinal.
