Commuters in south Regina received a shock Saturday when a city transit bus crashed into a tree.
The accident happened just before 11:00 a.m. in the 1500 block of McPherson Avenue.
The 52-year-old male bus driver was heading eastbound, when he somehow veered off the roadway, and struck a tree. There was minimal damage to the bus, but the driver and five passengers suffered minor injuries.
McPherson Avenue was closed to traffic for much of the day. No charges have yet been laid.
