Screams, laughter and the smell of mini donuts filled the air as the Queen City Ex got underway in Regina.
The 131st installment of the annual fair started at noon on Wednesday at Evraz Place.
This year’s Ex will feature more than 50 rides, as well as a variety of food concessions and live entertainment.
The kickoff party for the five-day event was held Tuesday night, featuring a parade and fireworks.
