A Regina man in his 40s is in critical condition after he was assaulted early Saturday morning.
Police were called to the 600 block of Garnet Street by a nearby resident. Officers found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries upon arrival.
He was taken to hospital and as of Saturday afternoon was still in critical condition.
Police said they are investigating the incident as an aggravated assault. No suspect had been arrested as of Saturday evening.
