A Regina woman has been charged in connection with a weekend assault that sent a man to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Shelley Cynthia Okeeweehow has been charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident Saturday morning.
Police were dispatched to a house in the 600 block of Garnet Street, where they found a man who had suffered a serious head injury.
The victim, a 42-year-old Regina man, remains in hospital.
Officers later arrested Okeeweehow, who police say is known to the victim.
Okeeweehow, 39, appeared in court Monday morning and was remanded into custody until her next appearance on May 14.
