After several months of public consultation, the city has unveiled a permanent solution for traffic flow in east Regina.

The city showed off the new plans Tuesday evening, at an open house.

The temporary bridge on Eastgate Drive will be removed, and replaced with entry and exit points from Victoria Avenue to Eastgate Drive, providing access to nearby businesses.

The city is also proposing a brand new pedestrian walkway that crosses the creek, connecting Coleman Crescent with Eastgate Drive.

The city says they developed the plan based on feedback from residents and business owners in the area.
