Terry Hincks passed away on Friday, Oct. 14 after a battle with cancer. The city has said that any votes for Hincks on Oct. 26 will not be counted.

Terry Hincks grew up in Regina and is actively involved in sports and in his community, most recently as offensive line coach at Notre Dame College. He played junior football for the Regina Rams, tried out for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, coached minor and high school football for 20 years as well as minor hockey and baseball. Terry is committed to Regina’s youth, especially those in Ward 9 and the Inner City. He spends much of his time fundraising for numerous charities such as Easter Seals and Cystic Fibrosis. Terry is a professional realtor and has won many awards during his career.

First elected in 2003, Terry is seeking his fifth term on City Council. He currently sits on City Council’s Executive Committee and Public Works and Infrastructure Committee and is a member of the Board of the Regina Police Commission.
