David Lerat was born and raised in Regina, and maintains strong ties to the community. For the past decade he has been a vital component to the success of his family owned and operated Plumbing & Heating Company as a Journeyman Plumber located in ward 6’s Warehouse District. David is passionate about public policy, youth mobilization, and First Nations issues. He is looking to build upon recent improvements to the area, and spearhead future affordable housing projects and public safety initiatives. He will focus on promoting partnerships and facilitating cooperation between business and community leaders to ensure growth and safety of the neighbourhoods. David believes this is a pivotal time in the ward and community engagement should be top priority. He currently volunteers with Regina’s Warehouse Business Improvement District. David maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys spending time with his family, walking his dogs, and playing sports.
